I've always considered myself a grandpa when it comes to sports. I read the sports section of the newspaper every day before school. I've had a Sports Illustrated subscription since I was in middle school and still hold on to my favorite covers. "Sports Nerd" is another appropriate descriptor, and I embrace it. ​

Since those youthful days, I've come to truly appreciate the power of sports and how the media can play a part in magnifying its impact on society. This is why I chose to attend the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. As an Arizona native, the Cronkite School was not only in my backyard but also a place where I developed countless professional relationships and gained valuable opportunities to grow in my career. I am currently a News/Sports Multi-Skilled Journalist at WQAD-TV in Moline, IL, and I'm excited to see where my sports broadcasting career takes me.

Beyond sports journalism, I enjoy getting outdoors and being active, whether it's playing basketball, or going for a run or hike. I also love to spend time with my family and friends and watch movies and TV shows. My favorite shows to watch currently are "The Bear" and "Cobra Kai."
